Jojo’s bizarre adventure series
The Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (JBAs) is a Japanese manga and anime series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. The series follows the adventures of 17-year old Josuke Higashikata and his two supernatural stand users, Jotaro Kujo and his stand Star Platinum, as they face off against an array of enemies.
The manga is serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, with chapters collected into tankōbon volumes. The first chapter was published on October 2, 1987 in the magazine’s 16th issue; as of 2018, there are currently 39 volumes and one special volume released.
The Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anime adaptation began airing on Fuji Television from October 3, 2012 to March 26, 2013 with a total of 25.
